Dr. Darshan Rajani is a Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma & Joint Replacement Surgeon at Mitra Orthopaedic Super Speciality Hospital, Ahmedabad, where he works alongside Dr. Kartik Shukla and team. With over 9 years of experience in orthopaedics, he is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence based care for patients with fractures, arthritis, and complex musculoskeletal disorders.

He completed his MBBS, D.Ortho, and DNB (Orthopaedic Surgery), and further specialised through a Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery (FIJR). Dr. Rajani secured an All India Rank (AIR) 75, earning admission to the prestigious DNB Orthopaedic Surgery programme through merit based national counselling. He subsequently ranked among the top scorers in the DNB Orthopaedic Surgery final examination, reflecting his strong academic foundation and commitment to excellence.

Dr. Rajani has performed over 1,000 orthopaedic surgeries, including more than 500 hip and knee joint replacement procedures. His expertise includes primary knee replacement, hip replacement, orthopaedic trauma, complex fracture management, arthritis care, and modern joint reconstruction. He combines advanced surgical techniques with evidence based practice and individualised rehabilitation protocols to help patients regain mobility, relieve pain, and return to an active lifestyle.

He is a Member of the Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons (ISHKS) and actively contributes to orthopaedic research. His peer reviewed publications include work on total hip arthroplasty in patients with ankylosing spondylitis and sickle cell disease, as well as posterior capsular local anaesthetic infiltration during total knee arthroplasty, reflecting his commitment to advancing orthopaedic science through clinical research and innovation. He has also received the Kutch Shakti Medical Award, Mumbai 2022, in recognition of his work in the field.

Dr. Rajani has presented at and attended a range of orthopaedic conferences, including the 21st Ranawat Orthopaedic Conference (ROC) 2025, the 4th International Symposium on Joint Replacement (ISRJR), Pune 2023, and the 14th National Conference of ISHKS.
